The data from Finder.com is from October 2021, to December 2021.
As per the report of the online survey, Singapore and Australia are the two countries where the population owns the most ehtereum.
The third place is reserved for the United Kingdom, where the population holds 32.9% of the total number of crypto assets that are private ownership.
However, the Finder.com survey clearly shows an overall drop in global ethereum adoption between October and December of 2021.
More specifically, the numbers show a drip from 28.8% in October 2021, down to 24.4% for December of the same year. And that is data obtained from 27 countries worldwide.
When it comes to the United Kingdom, the overall crypto ownership increased by a bearly 1%, or from 5.2%, up to 6.1%. And the same applies when it comes to ethereum as well.
Being that the UK is one of the handful of countries that manage to maintain a steady course when it comes to both crypto adoption and crypto ownership.
Yet, despite all of the data, the undisputed king of cryptocurrencies in the United Kingdom remains bitcoin. In particular, 42.8% of the population on the island owns the number one crypto asset in the world.
Furthermore, the report by Finder.com also shows that the number of bitcoin owners in the country is starting to decline. Specifically, dropping down nearly 15%, from 56.7%, down to 42.8%.
This only goes to show that the UK fondness for other digital assets grows slowly, but surely.
And the same goes for the rest of the world. As per the numbers, only Australia managed to increase the number of crypto assets between October and December of 2021.
In addition to its population owning the most crypto pound for pound, the land down under managed to increase bitcoin ownership to 72.7%.
Consequently, Finder.com ends the online survey with the fact that Russia, India, Columbia and the Philippines are the fastest growing countries when it comes to crypto ownership.
Overall, the UK coming in third globally when it comes to owning ethereum is definitely a positive for the island country.
