After collaborating with the National Football League (NFL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA) to release non-fungible token collectables, Dapper Labs signs a partnership deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) that will result in NFTs release.

This is the second blockchain venture for the UFC, considering the partnership the MMA organization forged with Crypto.com in July of 2021.

Dapper Labs revealed that it will release an NFT collection with the UFC on January the 20th. Moreover, the NFTs marketplace says that the first NFTs drop with UFC will happen already on the 23rd of January.

The name of the NFT collection is ‘UFC Strike’, and the open drop collection will feature a total of 200.000 packs. According to the announcement, UFC will begin the drop with 100.000 packs in the first round.
