Microsoft Buys One Of The Largest Gaming Entities In The World

The world’s most popular and widely used software company, Microsoft, reveals that it purchased one of the biggest game-development companies, Activision Blizzard. The deal cost Microsoft $68.7 billion, making it the company’s largest such purchase to date.

With this takeover, Microsoft gets around 400 million monthly players, being that it is now the owner of some of the biggest gaming franchises in the world. More specifically, titles such as Candy Crush, Call of Duty, Diablo or World of Warcraft, all are now under the ownership of Microsoft.
