The CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, is definitely one of the biggest influencers in the crypto industry. In fact, it seems that whenever Elon Musk posts a picture of his Shiba-Inu puppy on Twitter, Floki, the crypto community seems to lose its mind. And the interesting part is that this is not the first such ‘incident’. Just a while ago, Elon Musk yet again posted a picture of the puppy, which consequently saw the prices of several ‘dog’-related digital coins to spike.
Only this time, that most of the Shiba-Inu pup managed to gather over 100.000 tweets.
And the latest instance is rather similar to the first such case. After posting Floki on Twitter again, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX sparked lengthy conservation in the comments of the posts. With subjects ranging from The SHIBA, Dogecoin and Floki Inu coin, up to random talks about his dog. And just as before, this Tweet seems to gather quite the attention. Up to such extent, that there are currently more than 100.000 tweets of this latest Floki post.
For now, the prices of the ‘dog’-related coins seem to remain intact. Only Shiba Inu (SHIB) is noticing up to 10% rise, consequently trading at $0.000008792. However, the main reason for this increase can be attributed to the anonymous crypto-whale that purchased 6 trillion SHIB, and an additional 276 billion SHIB later on. This amounts to a total of three SHIB stashes, or 1 billion, 116 billion and 159 billion SHIB coins.
Many believe that Elon Musk is deliberately posting pictures on Twitter of his Shiba-Inu puppy in order to dictate coin prices, as a result, gathering more than 100.000 tweets. And while it is true that Dogecoin is a somewhat rival of SHIB, it wouldn’t surprise us if Mr Musk turns out to be playing both sides.
Especially if you consider that he single-handedly dictates the price of Bitcoin. In addition to being one of the more responsible for Dogecoin reaching the top 20 cryptocurrencies in 2021.
